Announcement: Achim Richter Assumes RMP Editorship (October 1, 2005)It is a pleasure to announce the appointment of Achim Richter of Technische Universität Darmstadt as the senior Editor of Reviews of Modern Physics. Achim's broad research interests include nuclear structure and nuclear reactions, atomic physics, accelerator physics, nuclear astrophysics, and nonlinear dynamics. He served under George Bertsch as an Associate Editor of RMP from 1995 to 2001. With our fully electronic editorial process, it is now possible and entirely appropriate for our highly international journals to have a senior Editor based in Germany. A search committee chaired by Robert Siemann of SLAC made the recommendation from among several excellent candidates.
