George Bertsch Retires (October 1, 2005)George Bertsch of the University of Washington is retiring from the senior Editorship of Reviews of Modern Physics. George has been leading RMP for the past ten years, and under his guidance the journal has increased its influence and become the world's foremost physics review journal. George's broad knowledge, along with his energy and wisdom, have enabled him and his Associate Editors to attract eminent authors and first-rate articles. He leaves the journal in a secure and admirable position, and we are grateful to him.
